FeedReader RSS desktop client FeedReader is a modern desktop application designed to complement existing web-based RSS accounts. It combines all the advantages of web based services like synchronisation across all your devices with everything you expect from a modern desktop application.

  • Open Xcode 10; Open workspace file: Cashew.xcworkspace; Run app! Note: You might need to turn off code signing for it to run. If you have any other issues, please let me know. I'm not well-versed in sharing the source for my projects, or in macOS development yet. Cashew is distributed under the MIT License (see LICENSE for details).
  • Vinagre is the default remote desktop client for the GNOME desktop. That's why it is also the default remote desktop client for Linux Kamarada 15.1, the current stable release. Like Remmina, it supports some connection protocols: SSH, RDP, SPICE and VNC. However, like rdesktop, Vinagre is unmaintained for some time now.
  • Click the 'Set up in Desktop' button. When the GitHub desktop app opens, save the project. If the app doesn't open, launch it and clone the repository from the app. Clone the repository. After finishing the installation, head back to GitHub.com and refresh the page. Click the 'Set up in Desktop' button. When the GitHub desktop app opens, save.

Have you encountered a feed that does only contain a small preview of the article? Then help us change that. FeedReader uses Full-Text RSS site config files. Which allows the application to grab the whole content of an article. If a only contains the preview of the article, then the website config file is missing or outdated. You can either create a PR upstream or report that there.
